1.5 Customer is any natural or legal person who uses or has expressed their wish to use the Services of Platinum Transfer.
1.6 Agreement is the Service agreement or any other agreement concluded between Platinum Transfer and the Client.
1.7 General Terms and Conditions establish the general terms which are applied when entering into a contractual relationship with Platinum Transfer.
1.8 Services are any services and products offered by Platinum Transfer, including information society services belonging to the product portfolio of Platinum Transfer.
1.9 User Account is the personal account of the Data Subject, which provides access to the digital products of Platinum Transfer and allows the Customer to identify themselves.
Apps
The driver app collects location data constantly whether the app is on the screen or hidden in the background. The data is provided to the driver’s concerned office for whereabouts so that the nearest job can be timely sent to the driver. When the office receives location information, they allocate the nearest job and notify the customer that a driver is available in the surrounding area.
Security of User Data
We prioritize the security of user data and employ industry-standard measures to safeguard the information collected through the app. All data transmission is encrypted to prevent unauthorized access. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel only, who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Non-Sharing of User Data
We are committed to protecting your privacy and will not share your personal information with any third party without your explicit consent. Your data, including background location updates, user name, and number, is securely stored and used solely for the purpose of providing the services offered by the app.
Background Location Updates
The app utilizes background location updates to enhance your experience by providing accurate location-based services. Your location data is used solely for facilitating transportation services and is never shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
User Name and Number
Your user name and number are collected to create and manage your account within the app. This information is securely stored and used for authentication and communication purposes related to your use of the app. We do not disclose this information to any third party without your explicit consent.
Consent
By using the app, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by uninstalling the app and discontinuing its use.
Disclaimer
Platinum Transfer makes no warranty that the software product will meet your requirements or operate under your specific conditions of use. The user bears sole responsibility and all liability for any loss incurred due to failure of the software product to meet requirements.
Under no circumstances shall Platinum Transfer be liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost revenues or profits or loss of business, arising from the use of the software product.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Data Safety
In our driver apps, we collect location data to facilitate ride services. This data is securely managed and used solely to enhance the driver experience. The privacy policy is available within the app and on the store listing.
Restrictions
Without prior written consent, you may not assign, redistribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your rights to the dispatch system.
Necessary Updates
From time to time, updates may be required by third parties such as Google, Apple, or payment providers due to technological progress or policy changes. We strive to provide timely app updates when required.
